Maintenance Tech 3rd shift - Ohio

1 MRO Team Member needed for 3rd shift
10:00pm-6:30am Wednesday and Thursday 7:00pm – 7:30am Saturday and Sunday .
This schedule starts Wednesday night at 10:00pm and ends Sunday morning at 7:30am

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Pull orders as needed
• Have a valid drivers license to pull orders from our off-site warehouse
• unload/load UPS, FedEx, and all other carriers (packages can weigh up to and excced 50 lbs)
• Receive in inventory/non-inventory items through the SAP system
• Deliver boxes to varius departments
• Daily inventory counting

Works safely at all times with the Safety, its Your Life program.
Participate in safety training (when applicable).
Complete tasks in accordance with operating procedures and quality standards.
Progressive knowledge and skill building as outlined through the versatility or training matrix.
Effective and timely communication of information to supervision (as needed).
Continuous improvement of work through the established suggestion system

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Comprehension Ability – Ability to understand and apply basic instructions.
Language Ability – Communication with others to convey information in a timely and effective manner.
Reading Ability - Cognitive ability to interact with written words or text
Reasoning Ability - Ability to conduct basic problem solving.

Position Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent GED required
Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment is preferred
Previous experience in an inventory, warehouse, or logistics work environment is preferred

Physical Requirements:

Required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is high). Frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surfaces from 4 -12 hours. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; lift; stoop, or crouch.
Vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and focus adjustment
Work is performed in an industrial-manufacturing environment with occasional to frequent time spent working on a computer or at a desk.
